On October 27th beginning at 6:15, Mrs. Johnson and Mr. Clanton will be doing an informative session on MyOn and Dreambox. This will explain how these programs can help your students make great gains in reading and math.
Following this session, the third graders will be performing a spooktacular black light show in the gym under the direction of Mrs. Butler. They have worked very hard on this program for your enjoyment.
Come out and support our students on October 27th!

Celebrate National School Lunch Week
Posted on 09/27/2016
School LunchThe Baker cafeteria will be celebrating National School Lunch Week from October 10th through October 14th.  Each day during the week, students who eat a school lunch will be given a special prize. On Wednesday, October 12th, we will have Spirit Day.  Students are encouraged to wear their favorite team shirt, jersey, or hat.  The class with the most team spirit will win an ice cream party.

We are also excited to welcome some special visitors that week during lunch.  The cheerleaders and athletes from Whitthorne Middle School will be preforming cheers and spending time with our students.

The cafeteria is also sponsoring a Poster Contest during the week. Students should "Show Your Spirit with Nutritious Food" in their poster.  We are excited to see these colorful and student created posters to display in our cafeteria.  A 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner will announced on Friday, October 14th.

We hope everyone will join us in celebrating School Lunch Week at Baker Elementary.
